BORSCH


Cooking time is 1 hour

For 4 portions:
beef 1 lb
cabbage 1/2 head
1 whole beet
1 carrot
1/2 white onion
1 sweet pepper
1 tomato
1vegetable oil 2 tablespoon
small red potato
water 4 cups



I put the meat in cold water and put the pot on the stove.


I remove the foam, when the water begins to boil the meat and cook 20 minutes.

At this time I'm preparing vegetables.

I grate carrots and beets. I cut up with knife onion, tomatoe, potato and pepper.


I add 1 tbsp oil in the skillet and heat carrots, beets and onion 3-4 minutes.

I then add tomato to the skillet and cook another 4 minutes.

I put potato and sweet peppers in the pot.


Vegetables are ready to add to the pot.

I chop cabbage


I put cabbage in the pot, add 1/2 tbsp salt and cook 30 minutes





I remove the pot from the stove, add a little garlic and leave for 5 minutes.
At that time, you can prepare toast

Now you can serve borsch on the plate and eat. Do not forget to add sour cream and a little black pepper.
